VBS: Amazing Wonders

This was Madalyn's 5th VBS, Audrey's 3rd VBS to attend and I helped teach Kindergarten.
Madalyn was super excited about her first ever VBS performance. They sang a few songs they learned during the week.

Fun with Cousins (day 3)

We are thankful for our time together making memories with our cousins

and our aunts and uncles!

Fun with the cousins (day 2)

We showed Grace how to catch minnows in the Salado Creek.

Everyone enjoyed catching and releasing the minnows.

Little Audrey in her own little world!

Kaitlyn was such a good litttle baby the entire trip!

It's our little tradition to take our guests to the little ice cream shop in Salado.

All three girls...well, all 6 of us enjoyed our ice cream. :)
Grace really enjoyed her rainbow ice cream.

Kelly's Sugar Cookies

While Kelly and her girls were visiting we managed to fit in a little baking.

Kelly showed me her special icing technique. They turned out so cute!

Fun with the cousins! (day 1)

During our three day visit with Aunt Kelly, Grace and Kaitlyn we managed to fit in quite a bit.
We started with the slip N slide and ended up buying a small kiddie pool later in the day.

Little Kaitlyn was loved on by everyone and handled it so well! I think Audrey and Kaitlyn are going to be good little buddies soon.

Justin took the girls for a golf cart ride to feed the ducks that evening.

After a little prep work for the shower we enjoyed pizza, wine and a movie!

This was my first time to meet Jason's sister, Amanda.

Laura and her sweet sisters, Donna and Julie.

A tree of advice and well wishes for the bride and groom!

Laura made these precious hostess gifts! So sweet!

Sausage and Cheese Pinwheels

Sausage and cheese pinwheels are a hit around here and are so EASY to make.
First, you need to open and spread your cresent rolls out on the cookie sheet like in the picture.

Second, you spread a thin layer of raw breakfast sausage on top of the raw cresent rolls.

Next, you sprinkle cheddar cheese on the sausage.

LOVE my little helpers!!!

After the cheese they are ready to be rolled up!

Last step is to slice and bake @ 350 degrees for 15 minutes.

Finally, they are ready to eat!
They freeze well...that's if you have any left to freeze!
